Bike Lanes for Toronto Now! #MinimumGrid
Everyday cyclists in Toronto are injured or sometimes even killed on the road because our city doesn't have enough safe bike lanes, but now there's a new hope.
Right now, candidates for Mayor and City Council are campaigning hard and we can make them commit to making Toronto a bike-friendly city if we can show them that this is a key issue for voters. Montreal, Chicago, and New York have already transformed themselves by building better bike infrastructure and it's reducing gridlock, combatting obesity, and saving lives.
Let’s demand all candidates commit to creating a Minimum Grid of 100 km of protected bike lanes and 100 km of bicycle boulevards by 2018 to get Torontonians moving by bicycle.
Click to join our campaign and we'll take our petition right to the candidates forcing them to take a position.
