HPPD Hallucinogenic Persistent Perception Disorder
People around the world are silently suffering from an illness called Hallucingenic Persistent Perception Disorder. This debilitating condition is caused by recreational use of drugs. It could be a one time use, or years of use. The severity varies, but HPPD is classified as a mental illness and is a brain disorder. The American Psychiatric Association gives it this classification: HPPD DSM-5, Code 292.89. Sufferers of HPPD (and their families & friends) need medical research to find ways of alleviating symptoms and discover a cure. Many sufferers have died by suicide as the condition creates intense anxiety, depression and hopelessness. Visit www.neurogroup.org   Become a member, please make a donation in any amount. Download HPPD brochure and distribute to doctors, hospitals, health centers, psych wards, etc. http://www.facesofhppd.com/uploads/1/0/8/8/10884075/hppd_brochure.pdf
If you are part of an online HPPD forum, let people know of this petition. Let's build a community to strengthen our resolve to find recognition and funding for medical research. Thanks for any help, a signature especially. The more people sign on, the stronger we become. Anyone who wants to support this cause can sign. The image above is a collage I created titled Dark Flight. There is a companion piece titled Soar Bright which I will post in the future.  xoLiz
