Blizzard Entertainment/Activision
On Sunday 11th July 2021, on the hill on top of the Wailing Caverns, members of his guild as well as members from several other guilds from Nethergarde Keep Alliance said goodbye to Icharium, Frank by his real name. Frank suffered intracranial hemorrhage during the week starting on 5 July 2021, was put into induced coma, fought, but his condition was untreatable and he departed. With his friends Kamelock, Cleoo, and Doomi by his side at his last moments in the hospital, Frank traveled to Azeroth and became forever immortal as Icharium, the Protection Warrior and Main Tank of his guild.

Following up on the in-game memorial, and after approaching the GM of Frank's guild, we decided to start this petition in Frank’s memory, and ask Blizzard Entertainment that it forever immortalizes Icharium the Warrior Main Tank with an NPC in-game. Since 2004, World of Warcraft has been more than a game for millions of us around the globe. We have made friends, partners, even life mates, and have created families that will last forever both in and out of the game. We have seen people come and go, many disappearing never to be found again.

Should it not have been for the guild, Frank’s story would have never surfaced. Many have lost friends and co-players throughout the decades, and we believe that by immortalizing them, we give their families strength to fight the hard reality they are facing. We. Players of World of Warcraft, protectors of Azeroth, travelers of the multiverse, have gathered here to request the preservation of Frank’s/Icharium’s memory, as a tribute to not only him and his family, but as another beacon of memory for those who have departed throughout the years.
