Coca Cola CEO - James Quincey
Coca-Cola sells about 1.9 billion plastic packaged products, which makes them the world’s No. 1 polluting company . Despite their efforts to recover the environment, it isn't enough!
Coca-Cola’s main problem is the plastic that they use in the packaging of soft drinks. There are many who are impacted by this problem, especially the precious environment and marine life who cannot speak for themselves. We demand Coca-Cola to adapt to alternate packaging like glass bottles which can be recycled almost unlimited times whereas plastic can be recycled but loses its quality over time which makes it easier to be considered as waste. Also, there is a much more chance for plastic bottles to end up in the environment and causing following problems:
● Destruction marine life.
● Causing global warming.
● Polluting the oceans.
We as a community need to hold Coca-Cola accountable for the damages it is causing to the environment. We have to force them to take action by speaking up. Do we really want our future to be living in a world with just trash all around them and just a large amount of environmental issues? Through this campaign, we want to ask people to join us in cleaning the environment over the course of the years and save marine life. Which has been going extinct day by day overtime since the plastic has been dumped into the oceans.
