Carbon offset credits for all suitable projects in developed countries

There is not a way to get
carbon credits
for
suitable
projects in developed countries. Suitable projects may include for renewable energy, emissions removal projects, and energy efficiency. For renewable energy, examples include solar and wind farms, and for
small-scale
, distributed, and embedded generation, such as rooftop solar PV systems). While projects exist in developing countries, as is currently available through the Clean Development Mechanism, it is not known that any such projects are eligible for carbon offset credits in developed countries. Enabling carbon offsets for renewable energy and other sectors in developing countries should increase the growth of the renewable energy industry, and other sustainability sectors and innovation, and more quickly reduce emissions, and remove or absorb emissions from the atmosphere. Carbon offset credits would reduce the cost of sustainability initiatives. Reduced cost results in increased demand, profitability, investment, and growth. This is basic economics of supply and demand.
