Full solidarity with the poet and journalist Ahmed Hamdi Ibrahim in Turkey!

A Petition to the Public Prosecutor in Turkey: The undersigned journalists, human rights activists and political activists declare their full solidarity with the poet and journalist Ahmed Hamdi Ibrahim against the attempt of the American citizen Mohamed Ismail Ahmed - founder of the Egypt Amal Party (under establishment) - to target him with false reports and to intervene with the Turkish Immigration Department to harm him by demanding the revocation of his humanitarian residency visa and his deportation to the Egyptian regime - who will certainly arrest him once he arrives in Cairo because of his media work during the past seven years, and because of his poems and songs against the dictatorship and military rule in Egypt. The targeting of Ahmed Hamdi Ibrahim by Mohamed Ismail Ahmed, who threatened him with imprisonment in Turkey (a threat that was witnessed and published), is due to an open press investigation carried out by Ahmed Hamdi Ibrahim on Club House (“Al-Tayyara” Room) in which he dealt with the case of arming thugs and rioters to cause chaos and violence during the 2011 January Revolution and beyond to thwart it and to prepare for the coup against President Mohamed Morsi - may God have mercy on him. The signatories call on the Public Prosecutor in Turkey to drop the false accusations against Ahmed Hamdi Ibrahim, protect his human rights and not allow his deportation to Egypt – where he will be arrested, tortured, and killed - because of the journalistic investigation he carried out.

• إلتماس مقدم للنائب العام في تركيا: يعلن الموقعون أدناه من صحفيين ونشطاء في مجال حقوق الإنسان ونشطاء سياسيين تضامنهم الكامل مع الشاعر والإعلامي أحمد حمدي إبراهيم ضد محاولة المواطن الأمريكي محمد إسماعيل أحمد – مؤسس حزب أمل مصر (تحت التأسيس) – استهدافه ببلاغات كاذبة والتدخل لدى دائرة الهجرة التركية لإيذائه بمطالبة إسقاط إقامته الإنسانية وترحيله إلى النظام المصري – والذي سيعتقله بالتأكيد بمجرد وصوله الي القاهرة بسبب عمله الإعلامي خلال السنوات السبع الماضية ، وبسبب قصائده وأغانيه المناهضة للديكتاتورية والحكم العسكري في مصر. ويرجع استهداف أحمد حمدي إبراهيم من قبل محمد إسماعيل أحمد ، الذي قام بتهديده بالسجن في تركيا (بتهديد مشهود ومنشور) ، تحقيق صحفي مفتوح قام به أحمد حمدي إبراهيم على كلوب هاوس (غرفة الطيارة) تناول فيه ملف تسليح البلطجية والمشاغبين لإحداث فوضى وعنف خلال ثورة يناير عام 2011 وما بعدها لإفشالها وتمهيدا للانقلاب على الرئيس محمد مرسي – رحمة الله عليه. ويدعو الموقعون النائب العام التركي إسقاط الاتهامات الكاذبة ضد أحمد حمدي إبراهيم وحماية حقوقه الإنسانية وعدم السماح بترحيله إلى مصر – فيعتقل ويعذب ويقتل – بسبب تحقيق صحفي قام به.
