This is important because this REFUND MONEY system can considerably diminish the problem of illegal waste,
as has already been proven in Germany and the Scandinavian countries.
This is turn dimishes the waste problem in the oceans.
Furthermore it saves a lot of ( scarce ) tax money that local, regional and national governments have to spend on a yearly basis in order to clean up the tons of trash that are thrown away in nature, and along highways.
