Opening:
Our world is in crisis—divided by hate, violence, and misunderstanding. But there is a way to unite humanity: compassion. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, remembered by nearly two billion people as a messenger of Compassion, taught that kindness is the greatest strength. Yet his true legacy is often distorted.

Why Now:
At a time when extremists try to hijack faith, a huge global movement of Muslims—and friends of all communities—turning towards compassion will make it harder for hatred to thrive. Global Compassion Day can help prevent people from being misled by extremists, and instead inspire them towards kindness, solidarity, and peace. A safer world begins with compassion in action.

Call to Action:
Together, we can make this happen. If millions of us demand it, the UN will have to listen. Add your name now, and let’s create a world where compassion speaks louder than hate.

Together, we call on the United Nations General Assembly and its Member States to declare 12 Rabi ul Awwal as Global Compassion Day.
