Indians around the world — whether students, professionals, workers, or residents — are increasingly facing racial discrimination, xenophobia, and targeted violence across multiple countries.
From H1B visa holders in the US, to international students in Australia, to workers in the Gulf, to professionals in the UK, Canada, and Europe — the Indian diaspora is under pressure.
Reports and real-life experiences show:
These forms of discrimination are not isolated incidents. They reflect a growing global problem — where people of Indian descent are unfairly portrayed, targeted, or treated as “outsiders” despite their contributions to society, economy, and culture.
We, the undersigned, call upon:

This petition is not against any nation or people — it is a united appeal against injustice and discrimination. Indians abroad deserve equality, dignity, respect and freedom from fear — just like any global citizen.
Let us raise our voice, stand in solidarity, and demand global accountability. Racism anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
This is not just an Indian issue. This is a global injustice. Let’s unite for fairness, equality, and human dignity.

- Under-representation and lack of protection despite being highly contributing communities.
- Profiling, surveillance, bullying and cultural stereotyping .

We, the undersigned, call upon:
- The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
- The UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD)
- The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)
- The governments of USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Gulf countries, and the EU
To take immediate and coordinated action to:
- Officially acknowledge and condemn racism against Indians abroad.
- Establish and enforce anti-racism laws and protections.
- Ensure safe, respectful, and inclusive environments for Indians working, studying, or residing overseas.
- Support Indian embassies in assisting victims of racism and discrimination.
- Promote public awareness and cross-cultural understanding to combat stereotypes.
This petition is not against any nation or people — it is a united appeal against injustice and discrimination. Indians abroad deserve equality, dignity, respect and freedom from fear — just like any global citizen.
