Keep Kentwood Green

Tilehurst residents: the land surrounding your local allotment site - between Kentwood Hill, Armour Hill and Polsted Road - is up for sale. This land has never been built on and is rich in native trees, plants and wildlife, including several protected species. If the sale goes ahead, planning permission may be granted for up to 80 dwellings,  so displacing wildlife , destroying valuable green space,  and placing additional strain on local services, infrastructure and roads .

We call upon the trustees, Tilehurst People’s Local Charity , to withdraw this land from sale and to protect it from development in perpetuity.

We urge TPLC instead to work with the local community to preserve and enhance this valuable green space for the benefit of future generations of local Tilehurst residents.
