As concerned citizens around the world, we urge you to protect the Great Barrier Reef by saying no to hugely damaging dredging and dumping. The Great Barrier Reef is at risk of being dredged to make way for a mega coal project. But if the Australian Government steps in to block the plan, the dredging will be dropped and this world heritage site will be protected.

There are just weeks until a knife's edge Australian election, and Prime Minister Rudd has been looking for ways to sure up his green credentials. But major mining companies have local voters scared and the Prime Minister thinking twice. Rudd cares deeply about his international reputation and a huge global outcry can tip the balance and get him to save the Great Barrier Reef.
