More than 800,000 of us have stood up to help free Qatar’s modern day slaves. But now it's time to take our pressure to the next level by making sure the Qatari Emir and CH2M Hill hear from each of us directly.

Send a message to the Qatari Emir and the CEO of CH2M Hill to demand they do more to stop the suffering of these migrant workers. Here are some points you can make:
  • I am horrified by the conditions migrant workers in Qatar are forced to work under. The World Cup should not be built on the backs of modern day slaves.
  • Qatar must honour its promises to abolish its abusive sponsorship laws that prevent migrant workers from leaving the country or changing employers of their own free will.
  • Any international company working in Qatar has a responsibility to ensure all workers in their supply chain are able to leave Qatar at will and form unions.
  • CH2M Hill can and must do more to use its influence to move the Qatari government and construction contractors to improve conditions for all migrant workers.
  • Qatar must take serious action against abusive employers and recruiters, including publishing their names and enforcing financial penalties.
