Because many fans, along with game critiques such as Angryjoe, DownwardThrust, Jimsterling etc. all think that this will damage the game industry in the future making this the normal "Standard" as well as develop video games purposefully into grindfests which, ignoring the fact cost 60$ for a triple A titles, will cost more money to purchase.
