I have been listening to NPR for many years. Each news roundup ends with a report on the stock market, whether it be NASDAQ or Down Jones Industrial Average. We already know that this is not even a real indication of the health of the economy, and it certainly not an indication of the health of the planet. I am asking NPR to help raise awareness of what is happening to our planet by ending each news roundup with the daily CO2 PPM (https://www.co2.earth/daily-co2). This number may not make sense to people if they don't know what is a safe or ideal level, but the stock market numbers are just as meaningless to most people, too. Just having the number stated every day, which cannot take but a few seconds, will get people to think about what it means and perhaps look it up on the Internet or begin to talk with one another more about it. Then, hopefully, people will make personal changes and demand policy changes, too.
