PASA - Petroleum Agency South Africa: Stop Seismic Survey's During Whale Migration Season!

PASA has failed to comply with their own prohibitions and regulations which gives seismic survey vessels free reign to blast the seabed off the Coast of South Africa - just as the first whales begin their annual migration.These seismic airgun blasts affect the whales and dolphins strongest sense which is echolocation (critical to feeding and survival) this leads to stranding, deafness, disorientation and even death.
