 We join the Palestinian people and invite you to visit occupied Palestine, and to meet the children in Israeli prisons. We believe you must not visit Israel on a trip sponsored by a government that has indiscriminately supported the colonization of Palestine and the indiscriminate killing of innocent people. Palestinian activists are more than happy to show you the impacts of Israel's policies on day to day lives.

Battered by negative headlines around the world for abusing Palestinians, Israel is using this month’s Oscar ceremony to look good. They’re offering Oscar winners a first class, $55,000 trip for two to Israel. But we can change how this story ends.

If enough of us in Palestine speak out now, we’ll make sure these huge stars -- and the media that follows them -- will get to see more than the inside of five star hotels and Israel’s propaganda highlights. Avaaz will invite them to Palestine to children the occupation has locked in prisons too.

If enough of us sign before the Oscar ceremony in days, and we get journalists to start asking Oscar nominees where they stand, we can convince stars to say they won’t take up Israel’s free tickets unless they also get to see the reality in Palestine. Add your voice to the invitation for Oscar winners to visit Palestine.
