Abolish hunting as a leisure pursuit.

In rural France people dare not go for a walk or a cycle ride, or pick mushrooms in the countryside during the hunting season, or do so at their peril. Cats disappear without trace during the hunting season: shot, snared or poisoned. Hunters dogs are kept in pitiful conditions, exercised only when taken out to hunt, and abandoned when old or ill. There is no respect for wildlife or domestic animals.
