Allow Muslims to Pray 5 Times a Day at Work

Praying five times a day is considered the second most important of Islam’s five pillars, after professing that there is no god worthy of worship but Allah and that the Prophet Mohammed is the Messenger of Allah.

There should be no discrimination against Muslims who wish to conduct their prayers at their respective workplace. Employers should work closely with Muslim employees to accommodate religious practices in a reasonable, safe and fair manner. It only takes about 10 minutes for each prayer to be completed. Muslims should not be forced to choose between their job and their religion. This is basic Human Rights.

I am the creator of the petition 'Hijab to be allowed in the Singapore Workforce' but had to shut it down because I was scared and uncertain about the outcome. Now, I have brazen up and created this new petition for the Singapore Muslims.
