Ban cockfights in Southern Indian States

This is an appeal to put up a case for ban of cruel animal games across South India, where a massacre of cocks take place in the name of religion and gambling. I recently happened to run into a cockfight gambling games in Southern India, and I was shook to the soul by the cruelty of the game and the audience alike. A 4-inch blade was attached to the cocks’ legs and they were set free to kill or get killed. At times, the game would conclude in less than 10 secs, ending in a bloodbath. This certainly needs to stop.
