Bring about the elimination of leaded petrol / gasoline globally.
Already, with most countries having eliminated leaded petrol, it is estimated by the United Nations Partnership for Cleaner Fuels and Vehicles that over 1.2 million premature deaths are now avoided per year, of which 125,000 are children.
The countries still selling leaded gasoline are: Afghanistan, Algeria, Iraq, Myanmar, North Korea, Sierra Leone, Yemen. “None is a happy place. In these countries, vehicles with catalytic converters can’t be introduced. The converter reduces other harmful auto-emissions by 50-90%.
