Champaign County Board

Since Black people continuously make up more than 50% of our county jail population despite being less than 15% of our county population, it is time for action. The Champaign County Board must mandate this Racial Justice Task Force to investigate the reasons behind the over-representation of Black people in the county jail and make recommendations to the Board for measures to address this problem.
