Germany: Save the bees -- the countdown begins!

It’s the final countdown for bees! The final EU vote to ban toxic pesticides is on Monday. But after months of tirelessly campaigning for the ban, Germany’s Agriculture Minister Ilse Aigner is threatening to block it. It’s up to us to expose her plan and save the bees and our food supply.

Aigner is playing a false game: Publicly, she speaks out for stronger measures to protect bees, but behind the scenes she sides with the pesticide industry, which is on a mission to persuade EU member states to vote against the ban. Germany’s beekeepers are outraged, they want the government to listen to the 90% of Germans who want the ban, protect our bees and our food future, not the profits of the pesticide industry. They’ve just launched a petition and are calling on us to help to make it huge, before it is too late!
