Grouse Mountain - The Peak of Vancouver: Stop selling FUR!!!

Grouse Mountain, "The Peak of Vancouver", is a very popular ski resort among Canadians and visitors from all over the world during the winter holidays.

Recently, we were shocked to find out that Grouse Mountain SELLS FUR!!!

When asked, Grouse Mountain Vancouver stated that their fur suppliers follow the International Fur Federation Agreement of 1997.

Every responsible adult knows that the International Fur Federation Agreement of 1997 offers misleading and inaccurate information and it has nothing to do with the fur that gets into Canada.

Despite what their suppliers might say, we are sure Grouse Mountain is aware of the lack of transparency in the Chinese government regarding these topics. China is a country where human rights aren't even respected, where people's pets (cats and dogs) are stolen, mercilessly tortured and skinned alive for the fur industry. China is NOT a country that would be sharing with its clients the HORRENDOUS and DISTURBING reality of what their costumers are buying.

Therefore, we respectfully ask Grouse Mountain to go permanently FUR-FREE. If Grouse Mountain PUBLICLY prides itself on conservation and wildlife, the fact that they sell fur shows a
tremendous level of hypocrisy, and ONLY by going fur free they would be more consistent with their image.

Grouse Mountain also offers products made of:

- Canadian goose (down is a very cruel practice)

- Fur from Canadian TRAPPED coyotes

- Fur from fur farms

Because we believe it's a priority to teach our children the value of life and compassion, we won't be visiting Grouse Mountain until they go permanently and completely FUR FREE.
