The ECB is going to print 1100 billion Euro to pay the financial industry. The financial industry has shown to be an industry to make profit at the expense of almost everybody.
The industry has also frustrated legislation reform since the start of the financial crisis 2007. The system that leaded us into the financial crisis is still intact and is still rotten. Giving more money to it is like putting gasoline on a fire and will lead to further disruption of our already damaged economies . The current financial system favours the people and instances that are rich already and more money will skew the difference between poor and rich even further.
When the ECB prints so much money the value of the Euro will be diluted and all citizens of Europe will become poorer. The printed money is essentially yours! Giving it to the financial industry is at best a band aid and will get us further from a solution and necessary legislation reform.
The ECB wants to print 1100 billion Euro to stimulate the economy. We have 333 million people living in the Eurozone so this sums up to 3300 Euro per person !
Giving this money to the citizens of the Eurozone will influence everything , from better healthcare to better schooling, less crimes on the streets and will stimulate local businesses and economy enormously. Imagine what you, your neighbourhood or family can do with 3300 Euro per person! This will be life changing. You can finally start that business you wanted, get good care for your parents or improve your own life. Think a moment about it.
And now imagine how your life will change if the financial industry gets 1100 billion. Right, that is like, business as usual.
We want the ECB and the governments of the Eurozone to give this money to all current inhabitants of the Eurozone at once or spread over a year instead of giving it to the financial industry that will only benefit the already rich people and institutions.
