The cultural fallout from Russia's move to occupy Crimean Peninsula and further political and economical pressure on Ukraine is already palpable. A growing number of Western artists and musicians are canceling performances in Russia amid mounting calls for a cultural boycott of the country.
They are reluctant to showcase their work in Russia for fear of helping lend legitimacy to Putin's actions in Ukraine, Black Sabbath though have two tour dates in Russia this summer - June 1 (Moscow) and June 3 (St Petersburg)
The petition urges Ozzy Osbourne and the rest of the band's members, organizers, and sponsors to show solidarity with the people of Ukrainie and cancel the concerts in question.
