Tell Kenya's Director of Medical Services to Take a Stand Against Unsafe Abortion

Director of Medical Services in the Ministry of Health and the President of Kenya
Women in Kenya are literally fighting for their lives.
Not only is rape and sexual violence rampant, they are now left unable to have access to a safe abortion as the Kenyan Government has just blocked them.
Every year, 1 in 4 abortions go wrong with 120,000 women facing post-abortion complications with many forced to see unqualified "quack doctors" who often botch the operation.
Wanjiku, a 15 year old girl is just one of thousands of victims. The daughter of a tea-picker, she was raped, then forced her to have a botched abortion that went terribly wrong leaving her detained on a hospital floor desperately in need of a kidney transplant.
It shouldn't be like this.
Let's come together and call on the Director of Medical Services and the President of Kenya to intervene and get these lifesaving safe-abortion guidelines re-introduced. When 50,000 of us sign, we will take to the airwaves of Kenya and demand the government acts.
