Rape is the most brutal form of sexual violence against women.
In 2011 the Belgian judicial police force registered 4083 facts, an average of 11 rape cases a day!
Furthermore, rape is taboo: research shows that 9 out of 10 victims of rape do not press charges for various reasons. As a result they do not get any help nor support and the perpetrator gets away unpunished.
The silence must be broken. We incite all victims to witness and to press charges with the police. This impudent violence has to come to an end and the perpetrators must be stopped.
