The government of Mauritius

10 000 signatures are being collected for a court injunction against the new ID card. An id card is supposed to be a document for identifying the user and that's it! Why is it that the new ID card contains so much of personal info? Why is it that every step towards what they call "development" removes a little bit of our civic rights, privacy and intimacy?
