Stop the illegal hunting of Birds, Malta!

Most of all migratory birds in Europe move down to Africa over the winter. But to reach their goal, they have to fly across the Mediterranean sea. Malta is the last country on their last stop on their way there. Here they have to stop and rest before continuing their move to Africa!
So you can imagine how many different kind of species and endangered species including Bird of Prey that comes here!
Malta is also known as a big tourist country in Europe, but unfortunately also known as one of the largest country in Europe that has ILLEGAL hunting of Birds!
Help us stop this cruelty and raise awareness to the government of Malta and the rest of Europe. That WE as tourist and foreigners that live here do NOT accept this behavior, and will take our vacations elsewhere! If we do this the government WILL have to listen to us. All the endangered spices of birds in our own countries, that we work so hard to protect, come to this land and gets shot because of peoples greed and ignorance!
I know many of the Maltese people are kindhearted and do not like this behavior from the hunters in their own country!
There is NO need of hunting them, according to the law it is illegal to hunt them, but still to this day they do it AGAINST the law just to get them as trophies!!
There is no point in trying to protect our birds in the rest of Europe if they get killed as soon as they leave it!
As tourist you have the power to inflict the government. You as tourists spend each year well over 1.000.000 Euro /year in this small country and there is approximately 800 international companies stationed here in Malta!
Take the next step! Stand up for what is right! You have the power influence and make the change!

Raise the bar to stop the illegal hunting, limit the gun licenses per person and that these people have to be connected to professional businesses such as restaurants, providing them with meat. And no more entertainment or free hunting!
