The Swedish government: We call on you to stop the Genocide on your Indigenous Sami People!

The Indian Removal Act from 1834 is currently repeating itself, only this time - in SWEDEN . Sweden like to think of itself as the conscience of the world, but the rest of the World will be shocked to find out - how Sweden is treating its Indigenous Sami People : The Swedish Government is planning to build the World's biggest Wind Turbine Park on Sami land, and have already ordered 14 reindeer herders to leave their home. If not - they will be removed from their land and property with force!

The Sami are the only indigenous people of Scandinavia recognized and protected under the international conventions of indigenous peoples, however the Swedish government continues to run from its responsibilities:
The United Nations has for several years condemned Sweden for not recognizing the Sami people’s right to land and resources. Sweden has ignored this criticism so far taking no single action to end the discrimination of the Sami people identified by the UN. The UN now sharpens its criticism further. The UN Committee on Racial Discrimination released its Concluding Observations on Sweden in which it calls on Sweden to take several concrete actions, to end the human rights violations Sweden subjects the Sami people to.

This project will cost the Sami peoples way of life with Reindeer herding. If the Sami lose the reindeer, they loose their language, culture, traditions, and ability to move in nature.

The same thing happened to the Native Americans back in history, when the Europeans wanted access to their land. The buffalo had same value for the natives, as the reindeer has for the Sami. Millions of buffaloes were killed - just to be able to remove the natives from their land, so the Europeans could gain access. This is the 21st century, and we should NOT allow such cruel treatment of Indigenous people taking place again.
Sami Land is full of natural resources which the government and mining companies are highly interested in. With no Sami people on these fields, the government and mining companies will have FREE access to all these resources. So this illegal project, is not to help prevent global warming, or support the environment. It is ONLY about profit for the government.

The Wind Turbines also come with many negative effects, which has been scientifically proven, in many researches, which the Swedish government hasn't considered either:

Why support a project which not only will make humans and wildlife suffer a great deal in the long run, but also contribute to genocide on the Indigenous Sami people?

The Swedish Government should instead consider alternatives like Solar power to Wind Turbines which won't cost so much suffering.
This petition gives us a chance to make things right - it gives us a chance to give back, to at least 1 Indigenous people. The Sami people cannot fight this on their own, and they need help.
