Urgent - IRAN - Police are taking away PET DOGS from OWNERS

Iran/Tehran – dogs are currently being confiscated from their owners by the Police – even before the bill to do so has been passed in parliament! Lamakers (inc religious leaders) are PROPOSING a bill to Parliament, which makes dog ownership a CRIME! Dog ownership is frowned upon, because owning dogs as pets is what Westerners do. They say it is part of Islam Law not to keep unpure/dangerous creatures (though the dog owners say that is not written in the law).
