Planet Syria -- We can hear you!
Nearly one million of us have demanded a
No Fly Zone to protect civilians
from barrel bombs and chemical attacks. But after years of bloodshed and horror, many Syrians feel forgotten and isolated from the rest of the world. Let’s show people in Syria that they are not alone.
The Planet Syria campaign is coordinating a
global day of solidarity
with people inside Syria. They’re collecting
messages, images and videos
from people across the world to share with families, non-violent rights activists and civilians inside Syria. Here are some ways our community can help:
Write a message in the sand on a beach & stand next to it
Make a big banner and take a picture outside an iconic building or statue
Write a message with chalk on the pavement
Play a song for Syria with your favourite musical instrument
Get the paints out and create a loving message with your kids
Gather your family, your office colleagues, your football team and take a picture. “Planet Syria we hear you!”
Post your pictures and video to Planet Syria’s
Facebook page
