Save our Peace Constitution
Japan is considered the 5th most peaceful country in the world, but could suffer a dramatic drop in ranking if Prime Minister Abe gets away with his plans to ditch the anti-war clause of our Peace Constitution and spend massive amounts of our money to take our military on the offensive. Let’s act now before it’s too late.

Abe doesn’t have the majority he needs in the Upper House to change our Constitution, so now his trick is to change the rules so he needs only a simple majority of votes to start down the path of re-militarising our country. All he has to do is convince one person, New Komeito’s leader Natsuo Yamaguchi, to support this plan -- but if we rally behind him now we can give Yamaguchi the support he needs to protect our peaceful country.

We have to act fast. The government just released a new proposal that would set us on a hawkish track to expand the military, but the good news is that Yamaguchi already spoke out against this attack on our Constitution. Now, it’s up to us to make sure Yamaguchi stands strong.
