To the Arab League, European Union, United States, Russa, and Friends of Syria:

As global citizens, we call on you to take immediate action to end the bloodshed in Syria by doing everything in your power to bring all sides together for peace talks at the Geneva II conference. There is no military solution to this deadly conflict -- the only way to stop the violence is if the international community demands that all sides lay down their arms, come to the table and start to negotiate. Geneva II is the Syrian people’s last hope for an end to more than two years of terror. We ask that you seize this opportunity to lead and help bring an end to this horrific conflict.

For the women of Syria
Women in Syria are being forced to stand in front of tanks and act as human shields before they’re stripped and raped by soldiers. As the conflict drags on, a rape crisis has taken grip of the country, tearing apart countless women’s lives and forcing hundreds of thousands to flee. But for the first time in months, we have a chance to turn things around.

Real peace talks could be just weeks away, and could be the crucial step towards ending this madness. Russia, President Assad’s staunchest supporter, will be sitting sitting down with the UN and the US to find a way to get all sides to put down their weapons and start talking. But negotiations are doomed to fail if the bloodshed is continuing ruthlessly on the ground. US and Russian leaders are planning a peace conference -- let’s call on them to broker a ceasefire to allow for real negotiations, and offer a reprieve to Syria’s women and children.

Let’s build a million strong petition to both sides and the world powers backing them, demanding an immediate ceasefire followed by real talks. We’ll deliver our call with a massive stunt at the next peace talks planning meeting.
