Climate Case of the Century: 6 kids vs 33 governments
To the President of the European Court of Human Rights:
We, concerned European citizens, are awaiting the verdict in the historic Duarte Agostinho case with bated breath. We want to witness the 29 March 2023 hearing live and we wish for journalists across Europe to be able to report on the hearing live as well. We are conscious that not everyone will be able to travel to Strasbourg and enter the courtroom. Therefore, we urge the European Court of Human Rights to livestream the entire hearing on 29 March 2023.

If they win, the ruling will have an immense impact, legally binding all 33 countries to step up their climate action immediately. Let’s make sure citizens and journalists everywhere are watching this by requesting a livestream that will allow everyone to tune into the hearing – regardless of whether they’re able to come to court!
When enough of us join, we’ll send the court a formal request that showcases the massive public interest in this case and underlines the critical importance of the verdict.
