And across the world AI is accelerating the disrupting influence of disinformation on our democracies. From taking away jobs from normal people to creating sexually abusive AI deepfakes – AI is harming us.

Lawmakers are setting rules for AI based on the advice of power-hungry billionaire techbros who couldn't care less about the effects their products have on normal people – and we urgently have to change that.
