More than 250 children train at the Aida Youth Center every week. This pitch is a rare place of safety amid frequent military incursions, where they laugh, dream, and get to feel like kids.
Some girls have gone on to represent Palestine internationally -- but for most, it simply offers something precious: a childhood.
The Aida Youth Center isn't just about football. It empowers young Palestinians through education, psychosocial support, arts and sports programs -- providing a sense of normalcy and hope despite the challenges they face every day.
