Airbnb: remove settlement listings!

To AirBnb CEO Brian Chesky, and Head of Global Policy and Public Affiars Chris Lehane:

As concerned citizens across the globe, we strongly urge you to remove all listings in the occupied West Bank territory. Settlements are illegal under international law, and allowing these listings to stay up means Airbnb is consciously sustaining the Israeli occupation, and profiteering from the suffering of thousands. We urge Airbnb to be on the right side of history.

Airbnb: remove settlement listings!

Airbnb is doing something really disturbing: they’re looking the other way as illegal West Bank settlement homes are available to book on their site. It’s disappointing that such a popular platform like Airbnb is allowing this injustice, but now we have a chance to stop it.

Airbnb’s Head of Global Policy and Public Affairs Chris Lehane just joined the company after years of political strategy work. He's likely familiar with settlements and how crucial it is that they cease development, to see any lasting peace solution between Israel-Palestine. Let’s build a massive outcry putting Lehane in the global spotlight and urge him to intervene and ensure the illegal settlement listings are taken off the site immediately.

Add your name now, and if you’re an Airbnb user, tick the box in the form. When we get to 1 million, Avaaz will deliver our voices directly to Lehane.
