Airbus vs kids in Myanmar
To Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury, Governments of France, Germany and Spain:
Myanmar’s military junta is attacking civilians, while Airbus benefits through financial and operational ties with the Chinese defence conglomerate AVIC. Airbus should use its leverage to halt AVIC’s transfers of military aircraft, arms, and equipment to the Myanmar military and cease maintenance for their military aircraft. If AVIC refuses to end all business with the Myanmar military, Airbus should responsibly divest and end its relationship with it.

Despite international arms embargoes, Myanmar’s junta still manages to get its hands on jets and weapons to perpetuate their atrocities. Airbus has been caught red-handed working with and investing in the Chinese state-owned military monopoly selling deadly arms to the junta.
The brave activists who uncovered the evidence are asking us to join them in urging Airbus to help STOP arms sales to Myanmar and save lives. Let’s stand with them – when it’s massive, Avaaz will deliver our call to Airbus and its key shareholders!
