Trump is cracking down on his opponents, and he has the full weight of the US state behind him. We've campaigned hard against his vicious brand of politics for a decade. We know he holds a grudge -- and we're vulnerable.

• A new plan by the US government to crack down on progressive civil society, which it describes as "a vast domestic terror movement"
• The threat of US-based non-profits being slapped with huge taxes
• Organisations and senior leaders working on global human rights getting hit with devastating sanctions.
