Elon Musk is much more than just some eccentric billionaire. He threatens peace, the climate, democracy and human rights. And after weaseling his way into Trump’s inner circle, he is now actively backing far-right leaders across the globe.

In recent days, Trump's new best friend has been relentless: flirting with neo-Nazis in Germany, raising his hand in what appears to be a “Nazi salute” (TWICE), and endorsing a neo-imperialist vision that calls for annexing Greenland and Canada to the United States.

Luckily, many European countries already have laws in place that criminalise hate speech – such as Austria, Belgium, France, and Germany. And while they may not be able to apply those laws to Musk in the US – they don’t have to roll out the red carpet for him either. Urge them to issue a travel ban against Musk now!
