Honour Britain's promise to refugee kids

To Members of Parliament:

As concerned citizens, we urge you to do everything in your power to honour the promise to resettle 3,000 unaccompanied refugee kids in Britain. We ask you to help challenge this betrayal of vulnerable children by confirming and making public the number of places councils in your seats can provide. Giving up after only helping 350 betrays not only the assurances given to MPs last summer but also Britain’s tradition of welcoming the most vulnerable.

Honour Britain's promise to refugee kids

The government just betrayed a promise to refugee children freezing in camps across Europe. It said it would bring 3,000 refugee children to safety in Britain. Now it’s slamming the door after helping only 350.

A massive public outcry won the promise to help 3,000 last summer. MPs demanded help for the children in return for supporting the government's plans. Now we must call on them to make sure Theresa May honours the deal.

Britain has a proud tradition of welcoming the most vulnerable. We rescued 10,000 Jewish children from Nazi persecution. Now, thousands of children we have promised to help are still in grave danger. Britain is better than this. We still have time to act -- sign the petition for MPs to step in.
