We are shocked and saddened by the findings of new research that shows the extent of climate anxiety and hopelessness in young people all over the world. We call on you to acknowledge this crisis of despair, and take urgent action by massively scaling up investments in renewable energy, keeping promises on climate finance, phasing out fossil fuels to cut carbon emissions in half by 2030, and putting half the Earth under protection to save biodiversity. It’s time to give hope back to our children.

The kids aren't alright. A terrifying new study just found that over 75% of youngsters are living with severe climate anxiety around the world. More than half think humanity is 'doomed'.

Faced with floods, flames, and a million animals on the edge of extinction, kids are terrified of the future. It's a rational response. What's irrational is the repeated failure of our governments to take real action.

Now 40% of young people are hesitant about having children. They feel betrayed, abandoned to face a dark future on an increasingly hostile planet.
