Fast-track climate lawsuit against Russia!

To the President of the European Court of Human Rights:

As concerned European citizens, we request you prioritise the case without further delay, just like the court has done with several other climate cases.

Fast-track climate lawsuit against Russia!
Russian indigenous leaders, youth activists, and human rights defenders risked everything to legally challenge Putin’s regime over its climate crimes – but now the top European court they brought this to is delaying the case.

Russia is the fourth biggest global emitter of greenhouse gases and every day the Court waits is a day lost in the fight to save us all from the catastrophic consequences. A judgement from the Court would apply not just to Russia but across Europe – and influence the whole world.

These claimants are fighting bravely for everyone. If they’re ignored, we’re all ignored. If they lose, we all lose – while Putin continues to profit off our climate. Join this call to the European Court of Human Rights now, demanding Russia’s brave activists be heard. If enough of us join we’ll take our call straight to the court in Strasbourg.
