Avaaz just exposed the staggering scale of Covid-19 lies spreading on Facebook -- from fake health advice about drinking chlorine dioxide to cure the virus to dangerous conspiracy theories.

On the heels of our report, Facebook announced to start alerting users, who’ve seen harmful misinformation. Our pressure is working, but it’s not nearly enough!

That's why in days, frontline doctors and nurses will launch a call on Facebook and all social media platforms to issue corrections to everyone who has seen or interacted with misinformation. And it’s on us to make their call massive!
