Murad’s hope behind bars
Murad is a courageous, inspiring Palestinian activist and loving father who lives in the West Bank. But days ago Israeli troops stormed his house in the middle of the night, dragged him and four friends from their families and locked them up, just for participating in peaceful marches against the occupation. We have only days to help set them free.

Call now to ask key diplomats to attend the trial. Below is more information about the case and talking points to use during the call. Please remember to be polite.

  • We call on you to attend the trial of Murad Shtaiwi at Ofer Court on Sunday at 10 am.
  • His arrest and trial by Israeli forces is a cynical and illegal effort to crush popular civil disobedience in Palestine and intimidate brave and prominent Palestinian figures who are simply peacefully challenging the occupation.
  • The charges against Murad and the other activists from Kufr Qaddoum are based in large part on the testimony from two men detained and coercively interrogated for a month in a high security detention facility.
  • Your government opposes the illegal occupation of the West Bank and your presence in the courtroom on Sunday could shine a light into this injustice.
