We call on you to ensure doctors and the public have access to all the information we need to get the best possible treatment. Every clinical trial, past and present, should be made public and results should be released within one year of their completion so the most up to date information informs patient care.

When we put our health in their hands, we trust our doctors to make the best decisions. But drug companies are hiding half the facts our doctors need to keep us well. A public consultation happening right now could unlock the data, if we all act fast.

Every drug goes through tests before they are sold, and doctors decide how to treat us based on those results. But big drug companies withhold data from clinical trials that won’t help sell their product, so our doctors have been unknowingly prescribing heart drugs that kill and antidepressants that make children suicidal. Now the World Health Organization is considering telling all drug companies to open their files, and is asking the public to weigh in on the proposal.
