Ebola Emergency Action Now!

To EU Presidents and World Leaders:

With the deadly Ebola virus continuing to tear through West Africa, we only have a few weeks to contain this epidemic. As global citizens we urge you to swiftly ensure all the personnel, equipment and funding required to halt the outbreak are made available immediately, before this epidemic causes further suffering, death and devastation across West Africa, and beyond.

Ebola Emergency Action Now!
The numbers are terrifying: 10,000 expected new cases of Ebola in West Africa, every week, but only 4,300 beds pledged to treat them.

Unless the bed numbers get much better, right now, the new case numbers are going to get much, much worse. The UN gives us just over a month to contain the spread, otherwise it could mean infections reaching the millions. If our governments don't step in now, the message from the world to Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Guinea sounds like: good luck dying.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Governments are finally gathering funds and sending in doctors, but they're still not doing enough, fast enough. Heads of State meet in Europe this week -- public attention shamed them to pledge, now let's push Ebola action to the top of their agendas. Sign the petition for urgent action.
