Kier Starmer: End child poverty

To Prime Minister Kier Starmer and the UK government :

As UK citizens, we’re horrified that a record 4.5 million children in our country are living in poverty. This is not the country we want to live in. We’re calling on you to urgently set legally-binding child poverty reduction targets and pass a Poverty Zero law.

Kier Starmer: End child poverty
A record 4.5 million children are living in poverty in the UK.

We’re the sixth richest country in the world – and yet, kids are going to school hungry and living in overcrowded and cold homes.

This is immoral.

But we can turn it around. A fiery group of campaigners are pushing for a ‘Poverty Zero’ law that would finally force the government to set legally-binding targets to reduce poverty. Politicians are on onboard, and have tabled an amendment as a first step – but they need to show huge public support to get it through Parliament!

So, let’s show them people everywhere demand an end to child poverty – sign and share now and we’ll take this straight to Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s team!
