The EU banned dozens of toxic pesticides because they damage DNA, harm unborn babies, and kill bees and wildlife. But while these poisons are banned in Europe, EU companies are still exporting them abroad to countries where people have far fewer protections.

It’s a shameful double standard – and five years ago, the European Commission committed to end it.

Under pressure from the agrochemical lobby, progress has stalled – but we have a crucial window to push for action before the end of the year.
